The Skills Development Tracks
Communication Skills Development Track
At Speaklub all the members will have access to a curriculum that is designed to develop both their communication and leadership skills. And every meeting is carefully designed by a team of professional mentors to help kids develop a dynamic range of communication skills.
Leadership Skills Development Track
On the other hand the kids are given the opportunity to assume leadership roles in the steering committee. Here they will be facing challenges which demand them to implement and put to practice their leadership skills and people skills. This club offers them the much needed priceless opportunities to experiment their leadership skills and nurture them through practice.
Imagine the extent of life lessons your child will get to learn by going through this model of practical leadership learning and development! Imagine how refined her communication and leadership skills might be by the time she leaves this club!
Mentorship Development Track
The kids will also gain the vital experience to play the mentor role, of course with the guidance of a qualified and skilled mentor. They will be given the opportunity to speak to new members, guide them and support them to get oriented with the club, its process and learn their roles as new members.
Introduction
What is Speaklub?
In level 1 your kids learned the basics of public speaking – speech writing, non-verbal communication, vocal variety.
In level 2 they dived into the advanced skills of public speaking – storytelling, bringing characters to life, using rhetorical devices.
Wouldn’t you ask “So what next?”

FARWEEZ IMAMUDEEN
Farweez is an accomplished corporate trainer and public speaking coach with more than 1500 hours of experience, working with 22 leading organizations in Sri Lanka. He is a champion speaker who has competed and won awards at the highest level at Toastmasters International. He was the debate coach at Trinity College Kandy (2018). He is currently the debate coach at Good Shepherd’s Convent (2021). He holds an MBA from the London Metropolitan University (2019).
SHAAKYA NATHAVITHARANA
Shaakya is an accomplished champion public speaker who became the winner at the International Oratory Contest held by Global Unites. She holds a diploma in psychology from the University of West London and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology. She is completing an ATCL in communication skills. She’s a part time teacher, podcast host and an aspiring entrepreneur.
